My good friend Marlene has a birthday next week. she is an avid and accomplished quilter. I really wanted to make her a very special birthday card. When I saw this SVG for a quilt block , I knew it would make a wonderful card for her. I just love this paper line, Thrift Shop by October Afternoon. the vintagey patterns and colors make my heart happy. I used my handy, dandy Cricut and SCAL software to cut out the quilt block pieces. You can go HERE to find lots of cool svg files for your scrapbooks and cards. You can also google, free svg, and find tons of freebies; crafters are so generous.

Hero Arts Goodness
I love this stamp from Hero Arts. It is called Antique Writing and is one of their new cling mounted rubber stamps. Hero Arts have the MOST incredible quality rubber stamps. They stamp like a dream. I stamped the butterflies and dragonfly a second time, colored, cutout and mounted using foam squares. There is also some glittery goodness on the critters, but I'm such a craptastic photographer that you are unable to see the dimension and sparkle.
Stamps: Hero Arts-antique Writing, PTI-In bloom
Paper-PTI-Rustic Cream
Ink-Memento-Rich Cocoa, PTI-Chai and Chamomile
Other-Copic markers, Spica clear glitter pen, gems, DMC floss, tag
