Marlene's Quilt

My good friend Marlene has a birthday next week. she is an avid and accomplished quilter. I really wanted to make her a very special birthday card. When I saw this SVG for a quilt block , I knew it would make a wonderful card for her. I just love this paper line,  Thrift Shop by October Afternoon. the vintagey patterns and colors make my heart happy. I used my handy, dandy Cricut and SCAL software to cut out the quilt block pieces. You can go HERE to find lots of cool svg files for your scrapbooks and cards. You can also google, free svg, and find tons of freebies; crafters are so generous.

I LOVE this Debra!! Many years ago I dabbled in quilting, and although I don't do it any more I still appreciate the ART that it is. Your card really speaks to me! And thanks for leaving such sweet comments on my blog today :)
